Faversham Unlisted

An ultimate lockdown project – November 2020 four business partners had the vision to take Faversham online. The idea became a reality and in early December the multi-vendor e-commerce website went live. Each vendor can be granted dashboard access allowing them to manage and load new products under supportive guidance from madcreative. The website presented an opportunity for small businesses to actively sell locally online with free marketing, PR, and technical support from the team. madcreative provided training sessions and free workshops to help businesses understand the importance of selling online and navigating digital pathways.

The project successfully boosted vendor profiles and encouraged businesses to interact and sell in a collaborative marketplace enabling them to reach a local audience and expand their sales opportunities.

In April 2021 the website reported 50 vendors with over 400 products listed. In early 2022 we disabled the website, the lockdown was officially over and our personal work commitments restricted our capacity to support this philanthropic idea without any secured funding streams. The project from its inception to its delivery was exciting, illuminating, and a highlight of what could have been a very bleak 2020/2021.
