What should your business priorities be?

When you are planning to start a business, where do you start and what should you do first?

The excitement can run away with you, and you can get caught up in the details of logo designs, business names, and branding colours but miss out on the really important business foundations. We love logos, branding, and business names but they are meaningless without a proper understanding of what your services are and who exactly you want to target.

I totally understand, I’ve done it myself. Nineteen years ago I was setting up my first business. I was so caught up in designing the T-shirts we would all wear and the business name I missed something truly fundamental. What our clients wanted and how we could align our services to maximize the potential of our location and cafe venue.

I believe everyone can learn from mistakes and with support and knowledge, we can become better business owners. I am no longer fearful just excited about opportunities.
